สำหรับโครงการดังกล่าวถือเป็นโครงการแรกของประเทศที่ทาง ปตท. ได้ริเริ่ม และมอบความไว้วางใจให้ทาง PSTC และบริษัทในเครือ เป็นผู้จัดหา ออกแบบ ก่อสร้าง และดำเนินการบริหารระบบดังกล่าวนี้ให้กับลูกค้าโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมที่ใช้พลังงานความร้อนในการกระบวนการผลิต ซึ่งเป็นการผสมผสานระหว่างการใช้ก๊าซธรรมชาติเหลว LNG ควบคู่กับการติดตั้งพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์บนหลังคา (Solar Roof) เพื่อลดต้นทุนค่าไฟฟ้า และพลังงานที่ใช้ในกระบวนการผลิตทั้งความร้อน และความเย็น ส่งผลให้ต้นทุนด้านพลังงานของการผลิตสินค้าจะลดลงไปกว่า 10%
