นายประพันธ์ เจริญประวัติ ผู้จัดการ ตลาดหลักทรัพย์ เอ็ม เอ ไอ (mai) ยังคงเป้าหมายบริษัทจดทะเบียน (บจ.) ใหม่ในตลาด mai ปีนี้จำนวน 15 บริษัท ขนาดมูลค่าหลักทรัพย์ตามราคาตลาดรวม (มาร์เก็ตแคป) ราว 1.5-2 หมื่นล้านบาท โดยปัจจุบันมีกลุ่มธุรกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม (SME) กว่า 200 บริษัทที่อยู่ในการดูแลของ mai เพื่อเตรียมตัวเข้าจดทะเบียน โดยคาดว่าจะมีบริษัทที่มีศักยภาพเพียงพอเข้าจดทะเบียนเกินครึ่งที่จะทยอยเสนอขายหุ้นต่อประชาชนทั่วไปครั้งแรก (IPO) ในช่วง 5-7 ปีข้างหน้า
