ขณะที่การประชุมคณะกรรมการบริษัทวันนี้ ปตท.ได้รายงานความคืบหน้าเกี่ยวกับกรณีสินบนโรลส์-รอยซ์ โดยได้มีการตั้งคณะกรรมการสืบสวนข้อเท็จจริง ซึ่งในเบื้องต้นประกอบด้วยผู้บริหารระดับสูงที่ไม่เคยมีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับการจัดซื้อจัดจ้างโครงการต่างๆ ที่มีการใช้เครื่องยนต์ของบริษัท โรลส์-รอยซ์ มาก่อน เพื่อให้กระบวนการสืบสวนดำเนินไปด้วยความโปร่งใสตามหลักธรรมาภิบาล โดยมีกรอบการทำงานเบื้องต้น 30 วัน

The acquisition of Spindletop and startup of Lake Charles cracker did not provide IVL the typical earnings that IVL had built into business case but the strong balance sheet and the strategic fit of these gas-based olefin businesses serving the MEG integration and, importantly, the diversification into growth businesses such as surfactants, green fuels and urethanes is reaffirmed.

The net profit of BH for 2Q19 decreased by 25.4% to THB 725 million from THB 972 million in 2Q18, with a net profit margin at 16.7% in 2Q19, compared to 22.5% in 2Q18. BH reported total revenues in 2Q19 of THB 4,348 million, a 0.9% increase from 2Q18 revenues of THB 4,309 million. Total revenues for 1H19 increased to THB 9,082 million, or 0.9% more than THB 9,003 million in 1H18. 

แผนบริหารจัดการน้ำมันเชื้อเพลิง (OIL Plan 2015)มีเป้าหมายจะใช้เชื้อเพลิงชีวภาพสัดส่วน 20% ซึ่งเป็นการผลักดันการใช้แก๊สโซฮอล์ ตามาตรการส่งเสริมของภาครัฐ คาดว่าจะทำให้เกิดการใช้เอทานอลเพิ่มเป็น 11 ล้านลิตร/วันในช่วงปลายแผน จากปัจจุบันที่ 3.3 ล้านลิตร/วัน ขณะที่มองว่าการที่ภาครัฐจะปรับอัตราภาษีสรรพสามิตรถยนต์ใหม่ในปีหน้า ตามการปล่อยมลพิษนั้นจะมีส่วนช่วยให้เกิดการใช้ E85 เพิ่มขึ้นด้วย
