ทั้งนี้ PTT ได้จัดหาเชื้อเพลิงสำรองสำหรับโรงไฟฟ้าไว้ล่วงหน้า มีปริมาณการใช้น้ำมันเตาสะสมทั้งหมดอยู่ที่ 112 ล้านลิตร (จากปริมาณสำรอง 144 ล้านลิตร) และการใช้น้ำมันดีเซล อยู่ที่ 13 ล้านลิตร (จากปริมาณสำรอง 100 ล้านลิตร) ส่งผลให้โรงไฟฟ้าทุกแห่งสามารถเดินเครื่องผลิตไฟฟ้าได้ตามปกติ แม้จะเป็นช่วงที่อากาศร้อนและมีความต้องการใช้ไฟฟ้าสูงสุดของปี ยังรองรับความต้องการใช้พลังงานได้โดยไม่มีผลกระทบต่อผู้ใช้ก๊าซฯ ทั้งภาคครัวเรือน ภาคอุตสาหกรรม หรือภาคขนส่ง

However, CENTEL recognized the revenue of insurance claims totaling THB 80.6M as a result of fire damages that occurred at the Centralworld Shopping Mall, Big C Rajadamri, and Center One 2010.
