นายอาคม เติมพิทยาไพสิฐ รมว.คมนาคม เปิดเผยว่า หลังจากคณะรัฐมนตรี (ครม.) อนุมัติหลักการโครงการรถไฟฟ้าสายสีส้ม (ศูนย์วัฒนธรรม-มีนบุรี)ไปเมื่อสองเดือนก่อน ตนเองได้มอบให้การรถไฟฟ้าขนส่งมวลชนแห่งประเทศไทย (รฟม.) ไปดำเนินการพิจารณาปรับราคาค่าก่อสร้างให้เหมาะสม ซึ่งขณะนี้ รฟม.ได้ดำเนินการเรียบร้อยแล้ว และกระทรวงฯ จะเสนอให้ ครม.พิจารณาอนุมัติในวันที่ 29 มี.ค.59 เช่นเดียวกับสายสีเหลือง (ลาดพร้าว-สำโรง) และสีชมพู (แคราย-มีนบุรี) ที่ผ่านการพิจารณาของคณะกรรมการนโยบายการให้เอกชนร่วมลงทุนในกิจการของรัฐ (คณะกรรมการ PPP) ไปแล้วก็จะเสนอเข้า ครม.ในคราวเดียวกัน
