นายสุรพงษ์ ไพสิฐพัฒนพงษ์ รองประธานและโฆษกกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย(ส.อ.ท.) เปิดเผยว่า ในเดือน ก.พ.59 ส่งออกรถยนต์สำเร็จรูปได้ 104,712 คัน ลดลง 3.2% จากเดือน ก.พ.58 เนื่องจากปีก่อนส่งออกรถยนต์อีโคคาร์ไปยุโรปสูงกว่าปีนี้ แต่เมื่อคิดเป็นมูลค่าการส่งออก 55,635.40 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้น 14.43% เทียบกับเดือน ก.พ.58 จากมูลค่าส่งออกรถ PPV เพิ่มขึ้น 136%
